We only use the information that are voluntarily given by individuals who visit our website. You can choose wether you share your personal information. You can do this for asking for a quote, to receive newslettters or to buy our products.The data are well protected and we even added multiple firewalls.
We only collect your information to realize your wishes. Your data can be used to inform you about relevant services from EuropeTrack. When you want to adjust or withdraw your information, you can contact us. What kind of data do we collect?
When you asked for a quote
- Name
- So we can address you with your own name during a conversation.
- Company name
- This name will be on the quote, so we get more insight in the branch you are in.
- Number of vehicles
- We use this number to calculate the right price for you.
- Email address
- We will send the quote to the given email address.
- Phone number
- We will call you within three working days after you have asked for a quote. We do this to find out which package is most relevant to your company.
Customers
You will enter a different and extra secured environment because we work with sensitive data. We only open this platform when we make an adjustment in the subscription, when there is a problem with the unit or another issue that you can not solve yourself. Only your company has access to your own platform and you decide who gets a login. We don’t share this information with anyone.
- Name
- Often this is also the name of the account in combination with the company name. And also because we like to call you by your name during a conversation.
- Company name
- This will most likely be the name of your account, and when you have sub-accounts this name will be combined with your name. When there are issues, we will search for your company name in the database and solve it.
- Licence plate
- These numbers will appear in your account so that you can see your vehicle. There is also an ET number connected. This is so that we can find the EuropeTracker in our database when something is not working properly. Then we will send commands to the unit so that the problem will be solved.
- Email address
- Newsletters and invoices will be send to this address.
- Phone number
- So we can reach you when it is necessary. This is very unlikely and will probably never happen.
- Payment details
- To process your order we use an extra secured environment. We don’t get to see your payment specifications, but only receive a message when the payment is completed.

- Name
- So that we can address you by your name during a conversation.
- Company name
- This will be the name of your account.

- So that you can receive newsletters about our products that you sell.

- So that we can contact you in case of questions.

- This is needed so that we can transfer the reward to your company when you sold units. These payment details are for our administration member only.
- Amount of systems and packages that have been sold
- We need this so that we can reward you accordingly and so that we can see how are resellers are doing. We can not see the quotes that you have given to your customers.

Newsletters
We use the given email address for our newsletters. You will receive a maximum of 6 newsletters a year. The newsletter will be full of important updates, news and tips. The settings of your subscription and signing of are easily adjustable.
Personal account
We only store the data that is important to optimize your account. This is to show you your vehicles and the right package and modules.
IP addresses and cookie
We are free to collect data about your computer like your IP address and browsertype for system information. This is statistic data and is not traceable to an individual. See our cookie page for more information about cookies.
Where we storage all your data
We save your data separated over different servers in a well protected data center. Besides the security because of added firewalls, our data is also encrypted. The party where we storage this data does not have access to this information.
Usage of the information
We use the collected data that you have given permission of and the data that we collected with the gps tracker to add all information in to your account. This way you can see where your vehicles are and other functions that are within your chosen package. The collected data is not used for anything else than for your account where you chose the features. Data that is important for features you don’t use is not collected. this way we only collect data that is necessary to optimize your accounts and fulfill your needs.

Your rights
On the 25th of may 2018, two new privacy rules will be introduced.
Rights of oblivion
You can ask us to delete your personal data anytime. For deleting your account we need double verification. This is because we are not only deleting your personal data, but also your account and all data surrounding the (archived) vehicles. Because the duration (36 months) of the contract, your account can be deleted, but the payment will not be returned.
Rights of data portability
In specific circumstances you have the right to receive your personal data that we collected so that you can move them elsewhere. The collected data of the gps tracker is also available to download in a standard format.
Storage period
We strive to store your data as short as possible. The mileage report will be saved up to seven years, unless agreed differently, because of tax rules. All your data will be deleted when you end your contract.
